Amber pendants in Sterling Silver
We have a large selection of Baltic Amber Jewelry.
Amber is a fossil resin of trees that lived around 50 million years ago. The finest amber deposits are along the Baltic coasts of the Soviet Union and Poland.
Hand crafted in Poland, our amber jewelry features one-of-a-kind pieces of the highest quality craftsmanship. Some setting work is also done here at Broad River Gems and Mining.
We also have a limited supply of the highly prized amber intaglio pins and pendants. These are hand engraved on the underside of the stone with a negative picture, like a cameo in reverse.

Charoite pendants in Sterling Silver
Charoite is found in only one part of the world in a very remote area of east central Siberia along the Chara River Valley. The Russians first discovered Charoite in 1947, but it was not used as a gemstone until around 1978.
Our jewelry is fashioned from free-form and calibrated cabochons. The setting work is done both in Poland and our own shop at Broad River Gems.

Larimar pendants in Sterling Silver
We have a large selection of Larimar Jewelry.
LARIMAR (Blue Pectolite) is also called the "Atlantis Stone". It is very rare with the only known minesite being in the Dominican Republic.
Our selection of these one-of-a-kind rings, pendants and pins are all hand-crafted in Poland of .925 Sterling Silver. They are very fine, unique pieces.

Rhodochrosite pendants in Sterling Silver
RHODOCHROSITE (INCA-ROSE)
We host a large selection of rhodochrosite jewelry beautifully set in sterling silver.
Our rhodochrosite comes from Peru where it formed as stalactites and stalagmites in the silver mines of the Incas since the 13th century when they were abandoned.

Moonstone pendants in Sterling Silver
We have Moonstone jewelry from North Carolina, India and Brazil. Our Moonstone from North Carolina is cut by our lapidary and set at Broad River Gems.
AMAZONITE
All of the Amazonite used in our jewelry comes from the Morefield Mine in Amelia, VA. The cutting work is done by our lapidary, and is set in our own shop.
